Date snacks

Since 2015, we have been producing date snacks at our factory in Hammel, Denmark.

From our own plantations

We grow and harvest our Mazafati dates on our own Global G.A.P certified plantations - with a focus on quality, safety and responsibility.

Production in Hammel

With our own production in Hammel, we manufacture our Candy Dates, Date Bites and Choco Dates.

Harvesting

We harvest all the dates ourselves from GLOBAL G.A.P. certified plantations

Sorting

After harvesting, the dates are carefully sorted by hand, ensuring only the best dates are selected.

Pitting

For our snacks, we pit the dates ourselves for full control and quality.

Packaging

The dates are packed in the packing house, which is SMETA, SEDEX and FSSC 22000 certified, ensuring accountability and traceability.

Production

In Denmark, we produce finished date snacks at our factory, which is BRC AA certified for the highest food safety and quality.

Mazafati dates

Denmark’s most pampered dates to experience

The harvest starts in August/September, and all the work involved in date harvesting is done very gently by hand.

The unripe dates are completely red. As the dates ripen, they gradually turn black from the bottom.

When they are completely black, the date clusters are shaken on the palm and the ripe dates fall into a net under the palm. Depending on the weather, the date clusters are shaken every three or four days.
